Placencia Pointe

A valid passport is needed to travel to Belize, but for those of you in the United States, Canada, and the European community, no visa is required. U.S. gateway cities to Belize include Miami, Houston and New Orleans and flights are a little more than 2 hours from these cities. Direct flights to Belize are also available out of Los Angeles, New York, Washington, D.C., Dallas, Charlotte, and from Toronto, Canada.

Flights arrive in  Belize City  where you can take a air taxi to Placencia. The air taxis, operated by Maya Air and Tropic Air, are affordable and take off several times a day. The short flight takes about forty minutes. From Placencia's airport to Placencia Pointe property it takes a short ten minute taxi or boat ride.

Another way to reach Placencia from Belize City is by car. The wonderful scenic drive winds through mountains, forest and  before reaching the 16 mile long Placencia Pensulia. It is a great way to see more of this beautiful country. This drive takes about three hours and roads are all paved except the last twenty-three miles.
